Age Connects Torfaen brought the spirit of Easter to life this week with a joyful celebration for their clients and carers with a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.

The event, held as part of the charity’s ongoing work to support people living with dementia, saw everyone come together at Widdershins to celebrate.

Easter Bunny made a cheerful entrance, delivering chocolate eggs and spreading smiles to everyone in attendance.

Chief Executive of Age Connects Torfaen, Emma Wootten said “Moments like these mean the world to the people we support. A simple visit, a shared laugh, or a small gift can brighten someone’s day in ways that truly matter. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this Easter celebration so special.”

The charity’s team also used the occasion to highlight the vital services they provide year‑round, from wellbeing support and home visits to advocacy and community activities.

Age Connects Torfaen extends its thanks to the volunteers, supporters, and local partners who contributed to the celebration — and, of course, to the Easter Bunny for hopping by to make the day one of smiles and fun.
