Age Connects Torfaen Can Help You!
A reminder that Age Connects Torfaen is still here! Our staff might all be scattered across the Torfaen, with some people working from their living rooms and others out and about within Torfaen. The important thing is, we are still here to help.
Many of our clients are extremely vulnerable, they have had to stay safe at home. This meant that we had to adapt our services to support not only our existing clients, but the hundred of new referrals we are getting for help in our current crisis. We launched our Covid 19 Support Hub and the amount of responses we received has been overwhelming!
How can Age Connects Torfaen can Help you? (Or someone you know)
Age Connects Torfaen are offering support services in the form of:
- Shopping for essentials
- Collecting prescriptions
- Telephone welfare checks
- Benefits Assessments
- Cleaning Service
As lock down starts to ease we will also be expanding our services further. The next stage of our Covid Support Hub is to provide the following services:
- Activities in the home
- Carers Covid 19 anxiety training
- Meal delivery service
